Singapore Children's Society's annual charity event returns - bigger, bolder and with plenty to look forward to!
In partnership with Royal Bank of Canada, this year’s event celebrates the power of everyday moments in building strong connections and safe spaces for those around us.
At Children’s Society, our four youth centres are grounded in the Developmental Relationships framework — an intentional approach that nurtures meaningful bonds and supportive connections. This framework underpins our work with youth, guiding the way we foster environments where young people feel seen, heard and valued. Our evaluation results in 2023 revealed a promising trend: when developmental relationships are strong, help-seeking behaviour increases. Many of our youth shared that staff at our centres are often the first adults they turn to for support — a powerful testament to the impact of intentional, caring relationships.
Key Elements of Developmental Relationships
Express Care | Challenge Growth | Provide Support | Share Power | Expand Possibilities
We’ve seen how meaningful connections can become safe spaces and a foundation for growth. Join us as we walk towards a future where every young person feels supported and empowered. Let’s build safe spaces, one connection at a time.
This event is part of Weekend with a Heart, a community initiative by Singapore Pools in celebration of SG60.
